Chloe Hamilton joins the Elmira College coaching staff for her
first season as the Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach
and Head JV Women’s Basketball Coach. Hamilton, a 2011
graduate of Butler University, was a four-year member of the
Division I Lady Bulldogs.
Hamilton was a two-year starter for Butler, garnering WBCA
all-tournament team honors as well as Second Team All-Horizon
League accolades. She was an exceptional sharpshooter from the
field as she ranked fourth in the NCAA and first in conference in
field goal percentage (59.4 %). Hamilton was also top ten in the
Horizon League in free throw percentage (77.6 %) and points per
game (14.2).
Hamilton spent her summers as a camp counselor at Butler
University’s summer basketball camp. She planned and
taught different skills at different stations and coached a small
group of children during camp, helping them work on their
fundamentals. Hamilton was the co-fundraising Officer of Physical
Education Majors Club where she was responsible for planning and
organizing fundraising events, meeting with outside businesses to
get sponsorship and working with the president of the club in order
to promote the club. Hamilton is also a member of the Indiana
Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance
(IAHPERD).
Hamilton’s experience playing at the Division I level
and working with many younger players at a prestigious summer camp
to help develop their skills will provide a valuable asset to the
EC women’s basketball program.
Hamilton is pursuing a Master’s degree in General
Education at Elmira College.
