Kneeland ’05 enters his second season as Head
Men’s Soccer Coach and Director of Community Outreach
at Elmira College . Prior to his tenure as Head Coach
he served as Assistant Varsity Soccer Coach for the Soaring Eagles.
While attending Elmira College , Kneeland was a three year starter
on the Men’s Varsity Soccer team. In 2002 he helped
lead the Purple and Gold to the Empire 8 Conference Semifinals.
Also in that season, he received Empire 8 All-Conference
recognition. In his time as a member of the program, Kneeland was
selected as the team’s Offensive Most Valuable Player
three times.
Additionally, Kneeland is a member of the United States Soccer
Federation (USSF) and holds his Advanced National Diploma from the
National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).
He also holds NSCAA State , Regional, and National
Goalkeeping Diplomas.
Kneeland earned a S.B. in Criminal Justice, and is currently
pursuing a masters degree in General Education.
Nick Michalkow enters his second
year as Assistant Varsity Men’s Soccer Coach and Head
Junior Varsity Men’s Soccer Coach at Elmira College.
Prior to coming to Elmira, Michalkow was a member of the Le Moyne
College Varsity Soccer program from 2004-2006. As a
member of the squad, he helped the team to their first ever
Northeast-10 Conference Championship in 2005.
Michalkow was named to the Dean’s List and was part of
the National Society of Leadership and Success at Le
Moyne. He graduated in December of 2006 with a B.S. in
Business Administration with a minor in Marketing.
From 2003-2005 Michalkow was the Head Coach of Camillus Crew Player
Development, where he was responsible for developing training
programs for a variety of teams and individual
players. He obtained a NSCAA Regional Goalkeeping
diploma to add to his extensive background training and
conditioning goalkeepers.
While at Elmira College, Michalkow will pursue a masters degree in
Business Management.
