Kneeland ’05 enters his third season as Head
Men’s Soccer Coach and Director of Community Outreach
at Elmira College . Prior to his tenure as Head Coach
he served as Assistant Varsity Soccer Coach for the Soaring Eagles.
While attending Elmira College , Kneeland was a three year starter
on the Men’s Varsity Soccer team. In 2002 he helped
lead the Purple and Gold to the Empire 8 Conference Semifinals.
Also in that season, he received Empire 8 All-Conference
recognition. In his time as a member of the program, Kneeland was
selected as the team’s Offensive Most Valuable Player
three times.
Additionally, Kneeland is a member of the United States Soccer
Federation (USSF) and holds his Advanced National Diploma from the
National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).
He also holds NSCAA State , Regional, and National
Goalkeeping Diplomas.
Kneeland earned a S.B. in Criminal Justice, and is currently
pursuing a masters degree in General Education.
Keith Moore enters his first year at Elmira College as the
Assistant Varsity Men’s Soccer Coach and Head Junior
Varsity Men’s Soccer Coach.
Prior to Elmira, Moore was a four year scholarship player at NCAA
Division 1 University of Maine in the America East Conference from
2000-2004. After his collegiate experience, Moore went on to play
in the Professional Development League of the United States Soccer
League for the Brooklyn Knights.
Moore was nominated to the National Dean’s List in 2004
at the University of Maine. He graduated in 2004 with a B.A. in New
Media with a minor in History. Moore was also made a University of
Maine Alumni Ambassador.
In 2007 he served as the trainer for Lehigh Valley United and from
2007-2009 Moore served as a trainer at the Sound Soccer Academy. He
currently holds an NSCAA National Coaching Diploma, Advanced
Regional Coaching Diploma, State Goalkeeping Diploma, and USSF
‘C’ license.
Before Coming to Elmira, Moore worked as a Multimedia Director for
Kwik Goal Ltd., the official equipment provider and partner of the
US Soccer Federation, Major League Soccer and the NSCAA. While at
Kwik Goal, he had the privilege to work with and learn from some of
the best trainers in the game as well as exploring and offering
input into the latest training techniques and product development.
Moore will be pursuing his Master’s Degree at Elmira
College.
