Chris Connolly enters his fourth season as Head
Men’s Basketball Coach at Elmira College.
Prior to his arrival at EC, Connolly spent two seasons as an
Assistant Coach for Division II LeMoyne College where he helped
lead the Dolphins to back-to-back 17-win seasons. Prior to LeMoyne,
Connolly served as Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at
Hartwick College and three-year Head Men’s Basketball
Coach of the Central Region Open Division at the Empire State
Games.
Connolly was a four-year letterwinner at Hartwick, where he
earned his undergraduate degree in Biology in 1996. He served as
team captain in his senior season and helped the Hawks to an NCAA
Tournament appearance. In the same season, he was named first-team
All-Empire Athletic Association. Connolly also made two appearances
in the ECAC Tournament in each of his first two seasons.
In addition to coaching the men’s basketball
program, Connolly will also serve as an Administrative
Assistant.
Connolly resides in West Elmira with his wife, Jennifer, his
daughter, Rhyan, and son, James.
Ryan Mee begins his second season with the Purple and Gold as
the Assistant Varsity Men’s Basketball and Head Junior
Varsity Men’s Basketball Coach.
Mee graduated from the University of Rochester in 2005 where he
was a four year varsity letter winner on the Men's Basketball
team. In his time at Rochester, Mee was part
of four NCAA Division III tournament qualifying teams. In his
2004-05 season he helped lead the team to the National
Championship game where they finished runner-up. In his time at
Rochester, Mee led the team to an overall record of 97-17.
In 2005 he was named the Assistant Men's Basketball
Coach at Hilbert College. In that year the team finished with an
overall record of 12-14, and placed fourth in the Allegheny
Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC). The 12-14 record and fourth
place finish in the AMCC, was the best overall finish that Hilbert
College had ever had since joining the AMCC.
While at Elmira, Mee will pursue a
master’s degree in Education.
