For the first ten minutes of the game, the score remained close with EC only able to take at most a four point lead on two occasions. However, in the final eight minutes the Soaring Eagles managed gain some breathing room extending their lead to 8 with solid shooting from third year forward Mary Symonds ’09 (South Acworth, NH -- Fall Mountain) and first year guard Tesia Kaczynski ’11 (Mansfield, PA -- Mansfield).
