Women's Basketball Wins Keystone College Tournament Championship

La Plume, PA - EC women's basketball defeated Albany College of
Pharmacy to win the Keystone College Women's Basketball
Tournament. The Soaring Eagles defeated Albany College
by the score of 69-48.
All-tournament selection
Marcia Coakley '09 put up a total of 16 points in
the game.
Coakley was 5-10 from the floor, 1-2 from outside
the arch, and 5-10 from the line. She also
pulled down 5 rebounds for the Purple and Gold.
Tournament MVP
Mary Symonds '09 was second on the team in total
rebounds with 8.
Symonds scored 10 points in today's game to give
her a total of 35 points in the tournament.
Kourtney Troutman '08 finished the game with 13
points and 6 assists.
Bridget Catanese '08 led the team in rebounds with
9.
Catanese pulled down 3 defensive boards and 6
offensive boards.
Women's basketball will look to continue their winning ways this
Tuesday, December 5th, when they take on Wilkes University in a
non-conference game. Tuesday's game is scheduled to
begin at 7 p.m. at Speidel Gymnasium.
