Women's Basketball Drops Close One to Drew University

Madison, NJ - In the championship game of the
Rose City Classic, Drew University defeated the Soaring Eagles by
the score of 62-68.
Leading EC was all-tournament selection
Kourtney Troutman '08 who recorded 21 points.
Troutman was 7-17 from the floor, 3-9 behind the
arch, and was 4-7 from the line.
Troutman also pulled down 6 rebounds.
Britta Anderson '07 and
Marcia Coakley '09 each scored 10 points for the
Purple and Gold.
Anderson who was EC's second all-tournament
selection shot 4-9 from the floor and was 2-2 from the line.
Anderson pulled down a total of 5 boards and had 1
steal.
Coakley recorded a total of 3 rebounds and 3
steals for the Soaring Eagles.
EC will look to bounce back from yesterday's loss on November 28th
when they take on University of Rochester. Rochester is currently
ranked 14th in the nation amongst Division 3 programs. Game time is
scheduled for 8 p.m. at Speidel Gymansium and is the home opener
for women's basketball.
