Ithaca's Offense Too Much For Women's Soccer

Ithaca , NY - Women's soccer loss their fourth conference match of the season to Ithaca College today.  The Bombers defeated EC by the score of 0-3. 

The Soaring Eagles were only able to get four shots off the entire match.  Megan Callahan '07 had the only two shots on goal for Elmira College .  Meaghan Doherty '08 earned seven saves and faced 21 shots from Ithaca .  Elmira College was only able to earn two corner kicks the entire match.  

Scoring first for Ithaca was Colleen Masterson '08Masterson's scored seven minutes into the match.  EC's defense was able to hold the Bombers for most of the first half until Jackie Brisson '07  scored off of a pass from Chelsey Feldman '09  in the 31st minute.  Feldman would score Ithaca 's final goal of the game thirteen minutes later off of a corner kick from Emily Mogk '10 .  The goal was Feldman's seventh of the season.  Goalkeepers Aimee Meacham '08 and Rebecca Palmese '08 each had to make one save.  

The women's soccer team will return to action Saturday, October 14th when they take on Hamilton College in a non-conference match.  Game time is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Campus Field.
