RIT Hands Women's Soccer First Conferene Lost Of 2006

Rochester, NY - This past weekend the Soaring Eagles headed to RIT for their first Empire 8 conference match of the 2006 season.  Unfortunately the Women's Soccer team was defeated by RIT by a score of 3-1.

Recording the teams first goal of the 2006 season was third year player Laurie Teske '08.  Teske scored the teams only goal of the game two minutes into the second half.   Teske's shot on goal was her only shot of the entire match.  Also tallying a shot for the Purple and Gold was third year defender Christine Domingo '08.  Meaghan Doherty '08 recorded a total of 5 saves against RIT.

The Women's Soccer team returns home this Thursday, September 21st when they face SUNY Fredonia in a non-conference match.  Game time is scheduled for 4 p.m.
