Haschke Leads Men's Soccer To Victory Over Hilbert

Hamburg, NY - The Elmira College Men's Soccer team defeated
Hilbert College today by the score of 1-0.
First year player
Brian Haschke '10 scored the only goal of the game
off of a direct kick. The goal came in the 48th minute
of the game. This marks Haschke's second goal of his
career, and is his second goal of the
season. Keeper,
Kwame Cobblah '10 only had to come up with two
saves the entire match. Four other EC players each had
one shot a piece throught the course of the game.
Hilbert College recorded a total of eight shots against Elmira
College, and first year goal keeper Joshua Griffey '10 only had to
make one save. This game improves the Soaring Eagle's
record to 2-0 heading into this weekend.
The Men's Soccer team return to
action Saturday, September 9th at 4 p.m., when they face
Hobart College.
