Meghan Murphy '04

Individualized Studies: Fashion

     Meghan works as a product developer at Marchon, the second largest eyewear company in the world, where she manages the product development for Michael Kors optical, sun and runway frames. This job has given her the opportunity to travel to Paris and Milan for tradeshows.
     Meghan credits her success in the fashion industry to a marketing professor at Elmira College. “Professor Alison Wolfe helped a ton! I met her in the copy room one day while I was at work and we got to chit-chatting. From there, she took me under her wing and encouraged me to go out and follow my dream of going into fashion.”
