
EC Alumna Earns National ODK Honor Scholarship

Gergana Minkova ’09 was recently selected as one of
Omicron Delta Kappa’s 2009 national scholarship
recipients.
To be qualified for an Omicron Delta Kappa Foundation Scholarship, a member must have attained senior standing, maintained at least a 3.5 GPA, and plan to enroll as a graduate student within three years from the date of application. Students selected as winners exhibit extraordinary commitment to achievement in both academic and extracurricular endeavors. A national committee selects twenty scholarship recipients each year.
Gergana completed her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Political Science and International Studies this past spring. She will be attending the London School of Economics and Political Science and she hopes to become an International Diplomat or Human Rights advocate.
A History of Excellence
The Omicron Delta Kappa Foundation has provided scholarships to over 450 men and women since this program commenced in 1931. More than $300,000 has been granted to students who have pursued graduate and professional degrees. The Omicron Delta Kappa Foundation currently has twenty scholarships available
