Elmira College Alumnus creates “Wild Thing”

Elmira College Alumnus and former Director of Publications Chris Bell ’00 was recently featured in regional news for the unique art project he has begun with his students at Gardner Road Elementary School. The group is creating a life-size papier-mâché replica of a character from Maurice Sendak’s children’s book and recently released movie, “Where the Wild Things Are.” Read more about the lesson behind Chris’ creation here.
