Campus Center

The Campus Center opened in 1965 and serves as the center of
activity on campus.
It houses the campus Dining Hall, Offices of the Assistant Dean of
Student Life, Student Activities, and Encore, student meeting
rooms, student publications offices, Student Government
Association, Finance Board, Student Activities Board, the
student-operated WECW Radio Station, the College’s
Bowling Lanes, portable Mini-Golf course and the College
Information Desk.
Several different meal options in addition to the Dining Hall are
also available in the Campus Center.
-
MacKenzie's is open during the day for small
meals, bagels, subs or sandwiches, or for a rousing game of
pool.
-
Simeon's Restaurant, named for the founder of
the College, is also available for finer dining (steak,
seafood) by reservation.
-
And to satisfy the sweet tooth in everyone, students can
purchase cookies, pies, cakes, muffins and other candies in
Mrs. Sweeney's Sweet Shoppe. Other convenience
store items are also available at Sweeney's such as bread,
peanut butter, jelly, macaroni and cheese, and chips.
-
1855 Room An inviting coffeehouse atmosphere,
with a warm, casual feel. It is a place to gather to discuss
the day’s events over a plate of great food. The
room offers access to an outdoor patio for those warm spring
nights. (You can join the fun and live out your rock star
dreams on karaoke night!)
The Campus Center is also home to the George Waters Gallery.
Students, faculty, and guests display their various art forms
regularly in the Gallery. Students can also post "rides wanted" or
"riders wanted" cards for all areas of the US and Canada on "The
Ride-Share Board" located next to the TV lounge.
