Financial Aid Process

Free Application for Federal Aid
 International Student Finacial Aid

Graduating Women Apply to see how much Financial Aid you are eligible to receive at Elmira College.

1.    Complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Note - International students complete the International Student Financial Aid Application.

The FAFSA determines your eligibility for financial assistance and is your gateway to federal, state AND Elmira College financial aid. You can complete your FAFSA online. You can also get a FAFSA from your high school guidance office.
Our federal school code is 002718. The Federal Student Aid phone number is 800-433-3243

Tip: Submit your FAFSA as soon after Jan. 1 as possible, preferably by Jan. 31. (We allow you to estimate income totals so you can get your FAFSA in early.) We begin sending financial aid award letters to accepted Elmira College students in February.

2.    We will accept the CSS Financial Aid PROFILE. Elmira College's CSS code is 2226. Remember, you must still fill out your FAFSA.

3.    Complete any state grant applications such as New York, Vermont, District of Columbia, and Rhode Island, by the required deadlines. Our school code for the New York State TAP program is 0215. The phone number for New York State Higher Education Services Corporation is 888-697-4372.

4.     For free private scholarship information log on to: www.finaid.org, www.fastweb.comCollege Board, or contact your high school guidance office.
