I started my education at Corning Community College where I earned an Associate’s degree in Liberal Arts. I then went on to Mansfield University where I received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Human Resources. I continued on and graduated from Binghamton University with a Master’s Degree in Student Affairs Administration.
I am responsible for directly working with transfer students and guiding them through the admissions process. I am also in charge of our communication efforts with prospective students. When not helping to bring new students to Elmira College, I am advising the current student-run club, Colleges Against Cancer. This club is dedicated to teaching the College community about preventing cancer and helping to raise money for cancer research.
Favorite place on campus:
Outside by the Puddle on Carnegie Lawn. On beautiful sunny days I will bring my dog, Rocky, over to run around and play ball. After tiring ourselves out we will rest in the shade of one of the big beautiful trees on the hill and relax.
Favorite guilty pleasure:
Anything with peanut butter and chocolate.
My favorite season is Fall. I love the beautiful colors of the leaves on the trees and then raking the fallen ones into piles to jump into with my niece and nephew. My favorite pastime is apple picking at one of the many apple orchards in the area; I also love all things pumpkin, such as coffee, donuts and scented candles.
