The Mary Gray Peck Collection

peck Approximately 6 linear feet consisting of the correspondence and photograph collection of Mary Gray Peck of the Elmira College Class of 1889. Ms. Peck was the secretary and biographer of suffrage leader Carrie Chapman Catt.

The collection of several hundred original letters of the Peck family is enriched by the inclusion of another significant number of photocopies of letters from the collections of the Genesee Country Museum and includes material from before the Civil War through the beginning of the 20th century.
