personal papers of composer Charles Tomlinson Griffes, including
correspondence, music manuscripts, books from Griffes library and
examples from his collection of dried botanical specimens. Griffes,
an Elmiran, studied with Mary Selena Broughton of the Elmira
College music faculty.
