Internships require a minimum of 240 hours of professional work in
your chosen field, during your junior or senior year, at an
off-campus agency or corporation. This signature, experience allows
students to use what they have learned in the classroom, and add a
substantial line to their resume, too! Our internship requirement
helps Elmira College students stay ahead in the job market and gain
acceptance at the best graduate schools.
Both internships and community service projects are arranged through our Office of Counseling and Career Services.
