Borealis Wind Quintet

Founded in 1976, the Borealis Wind Quintet is regarded as one of the top chamber ensembles of today. Early in its career, the ensemble gained national recognition when they were named “Young Artists to Watch” by High Fidelity and Musical America Magazines. The quintet was also honored with a 2006 Grammy Nomination for Best Classical Chamber Music Performance. It is only the second woodwind ensemble ever nominated in this category.
