Caribbean Extravaganza Steel Drum Band

Hailing from Trinidad & Tobago, the Caribbean Extravaganza Steel Drum Band invites audiences to hear the sounds of the Caribbean and feel the rhythm of the drums. Specializing calypso, reggae, soca, pop and classical music, the Band began their music career in the 1970’s under the tutelage of their father, famous Trinidadian musician Cyril Diaz. The Caribbean Extravaganza Steel Drum Band has traveled extensively throughout the United States, Canada, Japan, South Korea and the United Arab Emirates. The Band has been nominated to the Music Hall of Fame, Buffalo, NY and received first place winner of the 1994 World Beat Band category, Buffalo New York Music Awards.
