General Degree Requirements for the Associate Degree
To receive an Associate in Art or Associate in Science Degree from
Elmira College, a student must complete a minimum of 60 credits,
with a cumulative grade point average (G.P.A.) of at least 2.000.
The last 30 of these credits must be earned at Elmira College.
For the A.A. degree, the student must complete the general
degree requirements listed below and sufficient general electives
to reach a total of 60 credits, with at least 45 credit hours in
the Liberal Arts and Sciences.
For the A.S. degree, the student must complete the general
degree requirements listed below and a concentration in either
Business
or
Human
Services and sufficient general electives to reach a total of
60 credits, with at least 30 credit hours in the Liberal Arts and
Sciences.
