Associate Degrees Available at Elmira College

All students receiving an Associate in Arts or Associate in Science Degree from Elmira College must complete a minimum of 60 credits, with a cumulative grade point average (G.P.A.) of at least 2.000. These credits include meeting the General Degree Requirements, as well as requirements in the major. At least the last 30 of these credits must be earned at Elmira College.

Associate in Arts
Liberal Arts: The Associate in Arts Degree in Liberal Arts with a major in General Studies requires General Degree Requirements and sufficient general electives to reach a total of 60 credits with at least 45 credit hours in the Liberal Arts and Sciences.

Associate in Science
Business: Graduates in this major are prepared for a variety of entry-level careers in business or to continue on toward a bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting.

Human Services: Graduates in this major are prepared for a variety of entry-level careers in Human Service or to continue on toward a bachelor's degree in Human Services.
