How to Apply

All graduate programs admit students to the Fall, Winter, Spring,
and Summer terms of the academic calendar. You may print an
Application for Admissions to Graduate Study into a
Master
of Science in Education Degree Program or a
Master
of Science in Management Degree Program to pursue a degree in
one of our
Education
programs or
Management
programs. Unsure about a Masters Degree, apply for
an
Advanced
Certificate, or
Non-degree
study to take classes for your own personal enrichment.
These classes may be applied toward a Masters Degree if
you decide to earn a degree. Applications for Admission
to Graduate Study may also be obtained by contacting the
Elmira College Office of Continuing Education and Graduate Studies
at
graduate@elmira.edu,
(607) 735-1825, or 1 (800) 354-4720. All students who desire to
enroll in a course or program of graduate study must submit their
applications to Elmira College, Office of Continuing Education and
Graduate Studies, One Park Place, Elmira, New York, 14901, at least
two weeks prior to the first day of
class.

Print and return the completed
Education
Application Form.

Submit an official transcript from each institution
previously attended, one of which indicates a bachelor's degree
having been awarded.

A minimum undergraduate cumulative grade point average of
2.700 or approval by the Dean of Continuing
Education.

An interview with a Graduate Admissions Counselor.

Documentation of your provisional or initial teacher
certification if applying for the Literacy program.

There is no application fee. Upon acceptance, a
matriculation fee of $100 is required to confirm your candidacy
into the Master of Science in Education degree program.

Once enrolled in a class,
immunization
documentation is required within the first
thirty days of your first term
for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and
Meningitis. Although Meningitis is an optional
vaccination, the completed form is
required.

Application Form.
