Unmatched beauty

Elmira College is located in the stunning Finger Lakes
region, only hours from New York City,
nestled in the hills of upstate New York. Elmira is a small,
safe city of about 35,000 with great coffee shops and
eateries.
The Finger Lakes area offers opportunities for skiing,
golf, hiking, water sports, bike touring, museums, restaurants, and
wineries. We are close to the cities of Ithaca, Syracuse,
Binghamton, Rochester, and Buffalo. We're not far from the major
urban areas of Toronto, New York, Philadelphia, and Washington,
D.C. We think it's the best of all possible worlds.
The Finger Lakes Region was recently featured in
Smithsonian Magazine where it
was recognized for its historical
significance and aesthetic beauty.
