During the ceremony, another member of the Elmira College community was recognized. Nolan Harkness, head electrician at the College, put together a presentation board for the ROTC Program. Nolan used his personal time and resources into putting this board together. The board is on display in the Campus Center to help the program highlight and showcase the Army students’ achievements throughout the year.

Captain Lisa Dwyer, Assistant Professor of Military Service here at the college, recognizes how this kind of event reflects the ideals of service within EC Army ROTC program, and in the Elmira College community as a whole. “It is an honor to be a part of Elmira College’s distinctive military heritage, and these accomplishments exemplify the important emphasis on service and community.”
