Elmira College Key Winners Honored at Luncheon

 

 

Thirty-three members of the Legendary Class of 2016 who are winners of the Elmira College Key were honored at a luncheon in Hamilton Great Hall. Honorees were congratulated by faculty, administrators, past Key winners, and members of the Elmira College Alumni Board.

Key Award is Honored Tradition at EC

The Elmira College Key has been awarded since 1935 in recognition of the outstanding achievements of preparatory and high school juniors who rank among the top ten percent of their class and who have demonstrated admirable leadership qualities and held important positions in their schools and their communities.

Amanda Hart-Hempstead ’13 was the guest speaker for the ceremony, sharing her experience as a Key Award recipient and her development as a student and leader on campus which have resulted from the honor.
