Fun in the Fall

Octagon Fair elicits songs of praise from all who experience
this traditional homecoming event, which forges a strong
relationship between the College, the community, students, and
alumni in a day of fun festivities.
Traditional events include "stand-in-line" sales at the McGraw
Bookstore and Gannett-Tripp Library, in addition to a collection
of student clubs' booths with creative games for
children. There are also crafter booths, full of
one-of-a-kind, hand-made items.
Families enjoy wholesome entertainment from storytelling to
pantomime, from pony rides to coloring contests, from K-9
demonstrations to great food. College professors provide puppet
shows, sandbox archaeological digs, Japanese tea ceremonies,
Spanish dancing and much more.

Alumni come to reconnect at this special event.
Proceeds from the Fair benefit student clubs.
